John Carl Jensen

John Carl Jensen, age 68, of Rancho Mirage, California passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025. John was born in Banning, CA.

Survived by his wife, Rosalinda Jensen, daughter Jessica Jensen-Sposeto, and granddaughter Claire Sposeto.

From a young age, John had an entrepreneurial spark that set him apart. At just 11 years old, he started his first business selling Christmas trees, and throughout his teens and twenties, he ran several fruit stands. He loved the independence, the challenge, and the pride that came with building something of his own.

As his life unfolded, John found his professional calling in the world of finance. He began as a financial advisor and, through hard work and determination, rose to become a regional executive manager for a large firm. His work ethic, integrity, and leadership inspired everyone around him.

John was a man who always planned ahead — not just financially, but for the kind of life he wanted to live. His dream was to retire early so he could spend more time with the people he loved most. True to his word, he made that dream come true when he retired at 48.

In retirement, John truly came alive. He spent his days traveling the world and enjoying new experiences with those he cherished most, his family. He adored being a husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family — whether it was a big trip, a Sunday dinner, or simply laughing together at home.

John will be remembered for his determination, his kindness, and his adventurous spirit. But most of all, he will be remembered for the deep love he had for his family, who meant everything to him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the hearts that will always carry his memory.

A prayer service for John will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Weaver Mortuary & Crematory, 1177 BEAUMONT AVE, BEAUMONT, CA 92223. A visitation will occur from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 1177 BEAUMONT AVE, BEAUMONT, CA 92223. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 24, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Sunnyslope Cemetery, 40 Pennsylvania Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223.
