John Cornelius Jordan
November 11, 1936 – August 9, 2019
John Cornelius Jordan, 82, of Lompoc, California, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at VA Medical Center Loma Linda.
He is survived by his wife, Teresita Jordan, sons Patrick and Ronald Jordan, his daughter-in-law, Sheila Jordan, and only grandson, Zachary Jordan, and many of his good friends.
Born November 11, 1936 in Everett, Washington and raised in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of John Philip Jordan and Marjorie Viola Jordan. He was preceded in death by his siblings -- Patrick, Leroy, Emmet and Jean.
In his early years, he served the U.S. Air Force and was assigned in different countries including Japan, where he met his first wife, Haruko (deceased), the mother of Patrick and Ronald. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service. He later joined Lockheed Martin and served the company for 18 years.
He was an avid golfer until few months before his passing. He is known to be a happy person and will surely be missed by his family and friends.
