John Yost passed away peacefully on October 22, 2011, at his home in Banning, California, at the age of 92. He was born October 19, 1919, in Coplay, Pennsylvania. John was a loving husband and caring father and a very happy man. He was an Army veteran, serving in world War II and was a receiptant of the Purple Cross. He had been a resident of Sun Lakes Country Club since 1988. John is survived by his loving wife, Gertrude; son, John; daughters, Theresa, Kathy and Trudy; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California. Graveside service Wednesday, October 26, 2011, 2:15 PM, Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #2, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California.
