Joseph Thomas Helmer

Joseph Thomas Helmer, age 80, of Beaumont, California passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2019. Joseph was born December 11, 1938 in Blythe, California to Lila Reubin and Pete Helmer. Joseph enjoyed working on cars and watching car races, going to church and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Claire Helmer of Beaumont; daughter Lori Martinez of Banning; and daughter Penny Caro of Banning; And grandchildren Michael, Ramona, Amanda, Bobby, Dustin, Carl, Nikki, Shaylene, Samantha, Ismael and Joe; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother Lila Reubin and father Pete Helmer; sister Betty Emery; grandson Jose Pacheco.

A graveside service for Joseph will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 9:15 AM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California 94102.
