Laura G Goebel

Laura G. Goebel, 67, of Cherry Valley, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2023 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with cancer. Laura was born on August 14, 1955 in Anniston Alabama. Laura graduated from Beaumont high school in 1973. Laura married her husband Michael in 1997. In 2002, Laura opened her own business, Laura’s Custom Embroidery. She was passionate about embroidery, her customers, and absolutely loved what she did for a living.

Laura was predeceased by her father William Carter and first husband Bill Taylor. Laura is survived by her husband Michael Goebel, daughter Rayce Taylor (and her family), son Alan Taylor (and his family), mother Claudine Carter, sisters Billie Jean (and her family) and Virginia (and her family), stepchildren Michael Jr. (and his family) Stephanie (and her family) & Tammy (and her family), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and “adopted family”.

A visitation for Laura will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A celebration of life will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California 92223. A graveside service will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, 1315 Edgar Ave, Beaumont, California 92223.
