

Laurie Ramos, 44, died after a battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS) on March 17, 2010, at her home in Yucaipa.
Born, September 28, 1965, in Redlands, to Bill and Nancy Nottingham, she was a resident of Yucaipa.
She married Brendan Ramos on October 12, 1996 and moved to Yucaipa to build their life together. She had a son, Kevan from a previous marriage.
Laurie was an extremely devoted mother and wife. She loved being involved in her three children’s activities and being a room mom. She enjoyed arts and crafts, singing in the choir and most of all, spending time with her family. She had a passion for photography, especially when it involved her children.
She exuded a zest for life and was always upbeat and positive.
She is survived by her husband Brendan, her three children, Kevan, 18 years old, Marissa, 11, and Cassie, nine all of Yucaipa; her father Bill Nottingham and stepmother Judy of Wisconsin.
; brother Greg Nottingham of Redlands; stepsisters Lisa Behr of Murrieta and Laura Barr of Utah; and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Nottingham in 1976, who also passed away from ALS.
A viewing will be held at Weaver Mortuary at 1177 Beaumont Ave. on Thursday, March 25, from 5-8 p.m. Services will be held at Yucaipa 1st Assembly of God Church at 12226 Second Street in Yucaipa on Friday, March 26, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1540 Allesandro Road in Redlands.
