June 2, 1973 – October 21, 2026
Lisa Serrano, 53, of Beaumont, California, passed away on October 21, 2026. A loving mother, devoted wife, protective sister, cherished grandmother, and dear friend, Lisa leaves behind a legacy of love and care for the people who meant the most to her.
Lisa was born in Redlands, California, and raised in Cherry Valley, California. She attended Precious Blood Catholic School and Beaumont High School. She began her career as a Pharmacy Technician in 1994 and started working at IEHP in 2003.
Lisa’s children held a special place in her heart, and her love for them was at the center of her life. She found love for a second time and treasured the life she shared with her husband, Louis. As a sister, Lisa was a protector and caretaker, always wanting her siblings to feel loved and supported.
Lisa found joy in the things she loved: cheering on Angels baseball, enjoying a crème brûlée latte or her favorite crème brûlée dessert, and spending time with her beloved friends, affectionately known as “the girls.” An amazing baker, she dreamed of opening her own bakery in retirement; a place where she could share her passion and bring happiness to others through her creations.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Louis Serrano Jr.; her parents, Vernon and Diane Bense; her sister, Julie, and brother-in-law, Michael Smith; her brother, Kevin Bense, and his partner, Jaymee Buckley; her children, Garett and Kristen Morell; her stepchildren, Jenna and Jimmy Serrano; her beloved grandbaby, Jade Serrano; and countless other loving family members.
Lisa will be remembered for the depth of her love, her caring spirit, and the ways she looked after those close to her. Her family and friends will miss her deeply and carry her memory in the everyday moments that remind them of her.
Family and friends will gather to honor Lisa’s life on Thursday, November 19, 2026. A viewing will take place at Weaver Mortuary from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at Saint Kateri Church from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunnyslope Cemetery from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., with a reception immediately afterward at Olivewood Community’s clubhouse, all in Beaumont, California.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and always in our hearts.
