Lorraine B Burch Hawkins

Born January 13, 1929 in Dalton, Georgia to the late John and Laura Burch. Lorraine went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2012. She is survived by her husband and loving companion for 64 years, Eugene S. Hawkins; daughters, Deborah (Richard) Townson of Redlands, CA, Judy (Brian) LeBoeuf of Chino Hills, CA and Laura (James) Keithley of Mesa, AZ; sisters, Jerrie, Prudence, Nancy and brother, John of Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Eugene Hawkins. She has six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Lorraine worked as a registered nurse at various hospitals in New York, Indiana and California. She received her training at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia where she met her future husband. She retired from Kaiser Permanente in Anaheim Hills in 1994. She was a resident of Villa Park, California for 30 years and Sun Lakes in Banning for the last 24 years. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Weaver Mortuary Chapel, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, CA followed by interment at Mt. View Cemetery in Beaumont.
