Lynn Jay Derrick

Lynn was a devoted husband, father, and son whose love for family and friends was steady and wholehearted. For 42 years, he shared life with his wife, Bonnie, building a home grounded in care, loyalty, and the quiet strength of enduring partnership.

Those who knew Lynn will remember a man who embraced life with genuine enjoyment and an open heart. He found particular pleasure in the things he loved—guns, knives, motorcycles, and trucks—and he also cherished Hawaii and cruising, savoring the beauty of travel and the simple happiness of time well spent. His faith as a member of the Latter Day Saints was an important part of his life and legacy.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Bonnie; and by Lesa Collins, Reudy Derrick, Adrian Derrick, Shawn Derrick, Jada Morgan, Faline Angelo, Ryan Derrick, Simeon Derrick, Taura Cox, and Michelle Lobban, as well as over 50 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Lyndon Derrick, Miles Derrick, Samantha Derrick, Tiffany Derrick, Catherine Powell, and John Sharbrough.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis, or Autism.
