Manuela Duarte

Manuela Duarte, 86, of Beaumont, California, passed away June 8, 2011 at Cherry Valley Health Care in the loving arms of her daughter, Linda Martinez. She was born December 21, 1924 in Lordsburg, New Mexico.

Manuela was a loving homemaker all her life, a wonderful housewife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was an avid reader of the Word of God, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved the open outdoors, dining, flowers, cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Adelfino Gonzales in 1954, son, Adelfino Gonzales, Jr in 1968, second husband, George Duarte in 1987, daughter, Lucy Morales in 1995 and grandson, Andrew Morales in 2005.

Manuela is survived by two daughters; Linda (Ernest) Martinez and Paula (Bobby) Richardson, two sons; Alfonso Gonzales and Johnny (Jane) Gonzales; 22 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Visitation Thursday, June 16, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Funeral Service Friday, June 17, 2011, at 10:00 AM, both at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California. Manuela will be laid to rest at Mt. View Cemetery, 1315 Edgar Ave, Beaumont, California. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
