Margie Benavidez

Margie Benavidez, age 82, of Cherry Valley, California passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Margie was born in Placitas, New Mexico to Erminda and George Benavidez. Margie previously lived in Banning for 20 years. She was a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church and loved to knit, scrapbooking and spending time with family.

Margie is survived by her daughter Rosemary Morales of Cherry Valley, California; her son Pat Maestas of Arkansas; her daughter Delilah Lucero of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her daughter Carrie Maestas of Riverside, California; and her son Enrique Maestas Jr. of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her brother William Benavidez of Fresno, California. Margie also leaves 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews to cherish her memory.

Margie was preceded in death by her father George Benavidez and her mother Erminda Benavidez; her sister Minnie Benavidez; her brother Charles Benavidez and her sister Rosemary Zuniga.

A memorial service for Margie will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California 92223.
