Marguerite Rose Hedstrom passed on July 29, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 17, 1932. She graduated high school and attended the University of Minnesota. Marguerite worked at the Catholic Youth Center and then Haertel Company.
Marguerite married Don Hedstrom on March 2, 1957. Together, they lived in Richfield, Minnesota for 7 years before moving to California in 1966.They lived in La Habra for 3 years and San Bernardino for 25 years where she received her BA at Cal State University. Marguerite and Don moved to Banning in 1990. Marguerite worked for the San Bernardino City Unified School District for 23 years; the last of those years spent as an Elementary School Secretary and finally as Employee Benefits Clerk. She was a volunteer in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Childhelp USA, and Hospice with the Inland VNA as bereavement facilitator and patient care, and a member of the Sun Lakes Garden Club, Tennis Club and Sun Lakes Friendship Club.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Don. She is survived by four children: Donnie Hedstrom and his wife Billie of Las Vegas; Tony Hedstrom and his wife Patty of San Bernardino; Marie Taber and her husband Mike of Chino Hills; and Michelle Rousselle and her husband Randy of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
