

Marvin “Bud” Nyswonger, 85, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at his home in Banning, California. Bud was born January 1, 1929 in Wasco, CA to Claire & Violet Robinson Nyswonger. He had lived at Sun Lakes in Banning for the past 24 years and Rialto for 18 years prior to that. Bud proudly served in the United States Army as a medic and upon his honorable discharge he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1965 and had worked as a physical therapist for 31 years. Along with being self employed as a physical therapist he also worked for Kaiser Steel & Redlands Community Hospital and had eventually retired in 1996. Bud enjoyed being active in his community as a member of Kiwanis Club of Rialto, member of Banning United Methodist Church and the Rancho Mediterranean Racquet Club.
In 2011 Bud would be preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Errolyn Darlene. He is survived by his daughters, Karen (Ralph) Provost of CA and Kammy (Larry) Truitt of Wyoming; son, Kyle (Irma) Nyswonger of CA; 7 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00am at the Weaver Mortuary Chapel, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, CA 92223, (951) 845-1141.
