She was my 3rd grade teacher at Wellwood elementary school back in the early 1960’s. I always had a crew cut and every time I walked near her she would put her handout so that it brushed across the top of my hair and she would tell me how nice my hair was. She was such a nice lady i felt safe in her class, she made us all feel special. I will always remember her as my nicest teacher. 

I will always have the fondest memories of Mrs. Hershey as a mentor and having the biggest heart.  Her love for children and teaching impacted everything she did. I am blessed to have been able to know and learn from her.  My prayers to her family for peace and comfort.

We camped on your doorstep until we found our home  You were our only friends and you did so much for us.  Way too many to mention.  We treasured  our
Yearly visits including this last one in March on our way home from Yuma.
You will be missed so much.
