Mike was a big part of my life back in the day. One of my best friends. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Words cannot express the sorrow I felt upon hearing of Mike's passing. We shared a short but precious time together growing up in the 70's, first at AE Wright then Agoura High. His laughter and generous spirit will be missed.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of the guy with the most beautiful blue eyes & the brightest smile way back when we were so young. His smile was as warm as his heart, and even though I hadn't seen him since our 20th reunion, he was someone that has & always will be unforgettable.. He will now be an angel to his family & will never be forgotten.. I'm glad I had the pleasure to know him & his sparkle.. My thoughts go out  to his family & I hope knowing that he will never be forgotten will bring some kind of strength to the people that loved him the most.  U were blessed to have his love as he was to have yours.

 I am saddened by the early passing of yet another Rockbed (4th almost-point, Malibu) brother. I surfed many days with Mike back in the mid-seventies.What a time it was.  RIP, Mike, but only between endless surf-sessions in that other dimension. We may not be able to see the set you've taken off on, but I'm sure it's a "macker". See you 'round the next point, my friend. My heartfelt condolences to Mike's family. Lo siento.
