Nancy McGovern, 56, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Loma Linda, California. She was born September 29, 1959 in East Orange, New Jersey to Richard & Mary Lee McGovern. Nancy was in special education until age 22 and worked for special education workshops for most of her life. She has been active in Special Olympics in the swimming events and in her spare time always enjoyed playing volleyball, botchy ball and bowling.
She is survived by her parents, Richard & Mary Lee McGovern of Banning; brothers, Richard, Steven (wife Erin), William and Michael McGovern; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11 am at the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont, CA.
