Philip Fred Rippel, age 83, of Banning, California passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018. Philip was born May 22, 1934 in Long Island City, New York. He enjoyed cooking and fishing, loved to entertain, and drinking his Midori Margaritas, and he always wore a hat.
Philip is survived by his daughter Victoria Fernandez (Robert); son Mark Rippel; and daughter Debora Rippel; two step sons, James (wife Patti) and Chris; sister Dorothy Vassalli; his loving pet Lola; and nieces and nephews.
Philip was preceded in death by his wife Joni Rippel.
A Graveside service for Philip will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 9:15am at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. 92518 with Military Honors performed by the Air Force.
