

Reynaldo Joe Urias, born March 17, 1960 in Indio, California to Roberto and Maria Urias.Ray as everyone knew him, was the fifth born of seven children. Brothers and sisters are Art (Vickie) Garcia of Beaumont, Roseann Montez of Cherry Valley, Gilbert (Bonnie) New Mexico, Martha Corral of Cherry Valley, Robert (Alicia) New Mexico, Josephine (Moises) of Beaumont. He was uncle to 19 nieces and nephews and countless great nieces and nephews.
The Urias family moved and settled in Cherry Valley in 1975. Ray attended Beaumont High School where he was given number 66 to play on the High school football team.This is where he met the love of his life,his wife Roberta Sanchez who was a cheerleader. What began as a teenage friendship blossomed and grew into a lifelong partnership. Married for 46 years, they shared a remarkable 50 years of love, memories and unwavering devotion to one another. When the two were not out walking their beloved dogs, they were out enjoying life in Ray’s favorite place to be “Lake Tahoe”. Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders soon became another favorite for Ray to visit. Ray put the Ray in Raiders, he loved anything and everything associated with the team. His love of sports also included watching The Los Angeles Lakers and The New York Yankees.
Ray worked for Alpha Beta here in Beaumont as a grocery clerk. He spent many years as a carpenter at Hills Cabinets alongside his brother Bob and uncle Sal. He decided to go back to school and obtained his degree as a Pharmacy Technician which he was employed at RUHS for Riverside County for 17 years. He made countless friends over the years.
Ray passed on December 19th at home with his family by his side. He will be preceded in death by his loving parents Roberto and Maria Urias, brother Art Garcia, his nephews Ramon Cruz, Robert Urias Jr., Great nephew Jacob Montez, and Great-Great nephew Ezra Rocha and many loved ones that have gone before him.
For Ray’s love of his teams, Please feel free to wear any Raiders, Lakers or Yankees gear in remembrance of him. The Family and his loving wife would like to Thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
A visitation will be held at Weaver Mortuary & Crematory, located at 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223, United States. The visitation is scheduled for December 30, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 5:00
