Richard Hernandez Ortega

Richard H. Ortega, 77, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Banning, California. He was born February 21, 1941 in Banning, California to Luis & Frances Hernandez Ortega. Richard has resided in Banning his entire life and worked for 40 years as a Brick Mason for Dury Masonry where he retired from in 2010. He was a dedicated and lifelong member of Precious Blood Church in Banning. Richard is survived by his wife Rosie Ortega; daughters, Patricia Cortez and Melinda Hernandez; sons, Anthony Ortega, Paul Ortega, Leon Ortega and Julian Ortega; brother, Salvador Ortega; sisters, Amparo Rodriguez, Stella Lopez, Lupe Ortega, Mary Lopez, Dolores (Lola) Menor, Terry Valdivia and Suzie Valdivia; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Ortega and Frances Hernandez; grandmother, Conception Hernandez; brothers, Tony Ortega, Jesse Ortega and John Ortega. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:00 am with Rosary at 11:00 am at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223. Graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, 2201 2201 N. San Gorgonio Ave., Banning, CA 92220.

Mi mas sentido pesame a todos los familiares y amigos del señor Hernandez . Y aunque en este momento las palabras de muchas personas pueden quedarse cortas para aliviar el dolor, las promesas de Jehova Dios de un reencuentro maravilloso y alegre, con nuestros seres queridos que se han dormido en la muerte, han servido de gran animo y esperanza para muchos. Mire lo que la palabra de Dios nos asegura en Juan 5:28-29 "28 No se sorprendan de lo que les digo, porque va a llegar el momento en que los muertos oiran mi voz  29 y saldrán de sus tumbas."

La muerte es el enemigo mas grande de todos los seres humanos, y ademas de resucitar a nuestros seres queridos, Dios tambien ha prometido acabar con la muerte para siempre, para que nunca mas lloremos el fallecimiento de un ser querido. Revelacion 21:4 nos dice "4 Y limpiará toda lágrima de sus ojos, y la muerte no será más, ni existirá ya más lamento ni clamor ni dolor. Las cosas anteriores han pasado”.

Espero estas maravillosas promesas le llenen de paz, consuelo y esperanza hasta verlas cumplidas.

Tio......you always displayed a presence of strength and a honesty.... I'll always remember when you would take us to our football games and after we would go to your house and show us a good time.
