Richard (Dick) Edmond Wiltshire went to rest March 18, 2012 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital. He was happily married to his wife Patricia, one day short of their 58th Anniversary. They first met while both were in youth groups -- she was 14 and in Jobs Daughters and he was 15 and in DeMolay. Dick was born to Ruth and Edmond Wiltshire on April 10, 1934 in South Gate, California and graduated from Washington High School class of 1952 in Los Angeles. Dick worked for the Southern California Gas Co for 35 years and retired in 1991. He enjoyed camping and fishing for many years as he and Pat raised their family. After his wife retired they moved to Sun Lakes Country Club, Banning, California where they have lived and enjoyed retirement for the last 14 years. Among some of the things he enjoyed doing was traveling. They took a number of Motor Coach trips, including one to the Grand Canyon and New Mexico, and even rode in a Hot Air Balloon. They took a number of memorable cruises -- the Hawaiian Islands, through the Panama Canal and Alaska, among many others. Dick also enjoyed shopping with his wife and choosing things for her.
Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia, and their four children; Gregory Wiltshire, Randall Wiltshire and his wife Vicki, Debra Barba and her husband Marty, and James Wiltshire and his wife Leslie. He also has two grandchildren; Austin and Zachary. Also, Brenda and Marty, Jr. whom he called his 'grandkids' and each made him a 'great-grandfather' and 'grandkids' Cindy and Linda. He is also survived by his 'other kids' Millie and Tinker, who were his cats and were always with him. Dick will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him
