Robert Delano Burk

Robert Delano Burk, 79, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home in Corona, CA. He was born in Mitchell, Indiana to William Riley & Ollie May Burp. Robert had lived in Corona for the past year and Banning, CA for 9 years prior to that. He graduated from Long Beach Community College and worked as a Civil Engineer Manager in the County of Orange from 1957 – 1991 while he lived in Tustin and raised his family. After his retirement, Robert was an active member of Calvary Chapel in Corona, the Masonic Lodge and the Past Pleasures Car Club.

Robert is survived by his wife, Betty Lorraine Burk; daughters, Dorine Faye Burk Hoffman and Patricia Lynn McNab; sons, Robert James Burk and William Earl Burk; grandchildren, Brandi Burk, Jamie Burk, Sarah McNab, Jonathan McNab, Shannon McNab, Ashlynne Burk, Madison Burk and Billy Burk.

A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00pm at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave., Riverside, CA 92506. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Corona Regional Hospice at 730 Magnolia Ave., Corona, CA 92879.
