Robert Schoenborn

Robert John Schoenborn, a 46 year resident of Banning, passed away quietly at his home surrounded by family at the age of 83, on Saturday, August 30th, 2014. Robert was born February 27th, 1931 in Hebron, North Dakota. He Attended the University of North Dakota and earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked and later retired as an engineer and manager for the city of Fontana . He continued to work as a Civil Engineer after retirement right up until his death. He was a member of the Banning Rotary, and Precious Blood Finance Committee. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann; Daughters, Karen, Laurie, Jill; Sons, Bill, Brian, Mark; and 16 Grandchildren. A Rosary and Visitation will be held at Weaver Mortuary 1177 Beaumont Ave. Beaumont, CA. 92223 on Monday, September 8th, 2014 at 7:00pm. A mass will be held at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 157 W. Nicolet St. Banning, CA 92220 on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 at 11:30am. Burial and Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Roberts name to the American Cancer Society.
