Roland A. Russell, 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in San Marcos, California. He was born June 16, 1927 in Canada. Roland enlisted in the United States Navy in 1944 and he was honorable discharged after 4 years in 1948. He has resided in Carlsbad, CA for the past 18 years and resided in Cherry Valley, CA prior to that. He was a local contractor and former board member of the Beaumont Water District.
Roland is survived by his wife, Caroline Russell of Carlsbad; stepsons, James Boyd of Canyon Lakes, CA and Michael Boyd of Upland, CA; and nephew, Russ Russell of Arizona; Brother-In-Law, Joseph Righetti of Oregon.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:30 am at the Mt. View Cemetery, 1315 Edgar Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223.
