Rotorua Gabriel Ekeroma

Ekeroma, Rotorua Gabriel, 40, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 in Loma Linda, California. He was born March 27, 1974 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Lotolua & Gataaga Ekeroma. Gabe graduated Tafuna High School of American Samoa in 1992. After high school he joined the United States Army where he was a decorated sharpshooter. After his honorable discharge from the Army in 1995, he worked for Americorps for one year and then worked as a building inspector for Aztech Inspection Service in Las Vegas, NV for 8 years. Gabe has lived in Beaumont for the past 3 years and has been an active member of the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont as well as being a Union member for Local 12.

Gabe is survived by his wife, Teoni T. Ekeroma of Beaumont; daughters, Asia-Lani Moana Ekeroma and Alanna-Liyah Matelina Ekeroma both of Beaumont; mother, Gata’aga Ekeroma of Beaumont; brother, Joseph I. Ekeroma of Western Samoa; sisters, Grace M. Adams of Wisconsin and Joan M. Ekeroma of New Mexico. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to gofundme.com under Gabriel Ekeroma.

A Funeral Mass was held Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont, CA with a burial that followed at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
