Ruben Carreon Baltierra

August 5, 1952 – August 20, 2026

Ruben C. Baltierra passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in Beaumont, California, at the age of 74. Born on August 5, 1952, Ruben was the third youngest of twelve children. He dedicated 38 years of hard work to the City of Redlands Waste Management Department before his well-earned retirement. Known for his heart of gold, Ruben was a deeply cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and kindness to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Isabel Baltierra; his daughter, Joanne; his brothers, Eddie, John, Arnold, and Robert; and his sisters, Lydia, Esmeralda, and Celia.

He is survived by his loving and cherished wife, Barbara Baltierra of Beaumont, CA; his sisters, Stella Kennedy of Arizona and Linda Ruiz of San Bernardino, CA; his children, Ruben Baltierra Jr. (Sarah) of Beaumont, CA, Janelle Baltierra of San Bernardino, CA, Ryan Baltierra of San Bernardino, CA, Richard Baltierra of Highland, CA, and Amber and Ryan of Beaumont, CA.

He leaves behind a legacy of 13 beloved grandchildren: Joe, Ashley, Jacob, Aliah, Lexie, Ryan, Ruben III, Dominick, Jeannette, RJ, Andrew, Alex, and Holly. He is also survived by his six cherished great-grandchildren: Aria, Ezra, Serenity, Serayah, Alana, and Xyla.
