Ruben Lopez
(April 14, 1957 to November 28, 2020)
From Ruben Lopez, Jr. son of Ruben Lopez.
Ruben Lopez is survived by his wife Cathy Lopez, his three sons, his 16 grandchildren, his mother, and his two brothers, and his two sisters. He was loved and cherished by countless family, friends, & his fellow brothers & sisters that are witnesses of Jehovah God. Ruben lived his life to the fullest and to the best of his abilities. Ruben loved nature, beaches, travel, worldly foods, the outdoors, and adventure enjoying new experiences life had to offer. Ruben had an intimate relationship with his Grand Creator and Heavenly Father Jehovah God. Ruben’s faith, loyalty, and obedience to His Heavenly Father was of the utmost importance and he strived to live by Godly principles. Ruben’s strongest desire was that his sons and loved ones would follow in his example and be faithful servants as he was serving God as he did so himself. Ruben strived to lead by example. Ruben was a hard worker dedicated to his family. Ruben was a giver with a huge heart. Ruben took advantage of any opportunity to come to the aide of others and help them in times of need. Ruben loved his family and all of his grandchildren as evidenced by his regular presence in their lives and in time of need. There are a few impressionable things that my father Ruben left behind as a legacy for me to follow. One analogy that could sum up how my dad raised me is: “You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day but if you teach a man how to fish you will feed him for a lifetime”. My father made sure his sons understood the value of a dollar and earning an honest living that would support and sustain ourselves and our families. My father Ruben left me a legacy to follow that cannot be summed up in a short manner. I am proud to have been his eldest son and be named Ruben Lopez Jr.
From Rodney Lopez son of Ruben Lopez. My father was a caring husband and father of 3 sons. Ruben was a very loving person with a huge heart of gold, When you needed him he was there for you. When I needed my dad he had open ears and arms for me. My father was and is one of the best examples I have of what a father and man should be and he taught his 3 sons how to be a man. He showed me when life pulls me down to get back up and stand on both feet and push forward and give it all you got. Ruben also leaves behind 16 grandchild whom he loved very deeply they called him Papa Ruben. My father was also a man of God and devoted his life to Jehovah God alongside with his wife, The world is a sad place now that you are gone dad! My heart has a tremendous hurt for you! I will continue to make you proud dad and do my best to be the man that you showed me to be.
From Randy Lopez son of Ruben Lopez. In memory of my dad who was also a husband, son, uncle, and best friend. Though your presence here on earth may no longer be but your memory is. All the life lessons that you taught your boys still play through our heads. Your lessons on teaching your boys how to be hard workers will not be forgotten. Your smile and laughter will be deeply missed as well as your embrace of comfort. May you rest in peace my loving father and don’t hit the snooze button when you hear your name called for the resurrection.
We will mourn your death father but we will definitely celebrate your life and cherish all of our experiences and memories we shared with you while you were among us thriving, living, and loving us. May Jehovah God keep you in His love and fulfill His promise of a resurrection of life everlasting. We love you dad.
