Samuel served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 until 1947. He was a Navy Seal, a World War II survivor and a veteran of the Korean War.
Samuel is survived by his brother, Benny Figueroa; two sisters, Prescilla Gonzalez and Anita Jones; and eight children, Sudie Rose, Rachael Bobb, Ceclle Hinshaw, Ramon Figueroa, Maria Figueroa, Martha Figueroa, Elizabeth Garza and Francis Figueroa.
Visitation was at Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California followed by Graveside service at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Military honors were provided by the U.S. Navy.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
