Sandra was born in Bratt, Florida, and attended Bratt Elementary and Ernest Ward High School.
In 1961, Sandra moved to California and quickly set to work, bringing steady dedication and a warm, capable presence to every place she served. She worked for Denny’s, Sambos, and Gay & Larry’s restaurants in Rubidoux, and later retired from Riverside Medical Clinic after suffering a stroke. Throughout her working life, she was known not only for her strong work ethic, but also for the kindness and compassion she extended to others—often accompanied by a well-timed sense of humor that could lighten a hard day.
Sandra’s love for life showed in the simple joys she cherished most: watching the Angels baseball team and the Lakers basketball team, gathering with family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was deeply devoted to those she loved, and in return, she was profoundly beloved.
Sandra is survived by her son, Greg Worley (Catherine) of Nuevo, California; her daughter, Shawna Lanier (Tim) of Banning, California; her grandsons, Nick Lanier (Kayley) of Hemet, California; Dakota Worley of Riverside, California, and Colt Worley of Riverside, California; and her great-grandchildren, Elijah Lanier, Nicole Lanier, and Sierra Lanier.
