Sharon Ann Reinmuth

1942-2025

With gratitude we celebrate the joy Mom “Nana” has gifted us over the years. The Reinmuth family shares that Sharon Ann Reinmuth passed on December 24, 2025, at her home in Sun Lakes.

Sharon was born in Montevideo, Minnesota, on September 18, 1942. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1960. After further education, she married her high school sweetheart, William Reinmuth, on March 17, 1962, at Big Bend Lutheran Church. They and their children Mark and Kristen moved to southern California and subsequently lived in Buena Park for nearly three decades.

When Sharon retired as a Medical Office Manager, she and Willie moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, California, 2003. Somehow between a crossword puzzle in the morning and a cocktail before dinner, Sharon found time for crafts like keepsake Christmas decorations and participation in numerous card playing groups. A natural talent and passion for singing engaged her in the Sun Lakes Chorale.

Sharon made the best hors d’oeuvres and she and daughter Kristen delighted in annual Norwegian lefse baking. As an intuitive baker and gourmet cook Sharon knew dining was a shared and valued practice.

Sharon organized travel for herself and Willie. For years they traveled to Colorado to spend time with son Mark, Kelli and the grandchildren. They flew their Mooney airplane to Minnesota to visit relatives. Trips to the Kenai Peninsula to angle and net salmon was an Alaskan routine for more than 30 years. Further travels took them through many European countries, Egypt and China.

Sharon’s life is an affirmation of ordinary and uncommon blessings, kindnesses and kinship among family and friends, and a knack for well-spirited directness.

Preceded in death by her loving and dedicated husband of nearly 57 years Willliam (Willie) Reinmuth, parents Sherman and Verna Sandven, and niece Brenda Peterson. Survived by brothers John (Cheryl) Sandven, Leroy (Fay) Sandven and sister-in-law, Helen (Tom) Bittman. Eternally remembered by her son Mark (Kelli) Reinmuth, daughter Kris Reinmuth, grandchildren Leslie (Wally) Delwiche, Lindsey (Clay) Crawford, Eric Marty, Tim Marty, great grandchild Wells Delwiche and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on January 31, 2026, 11:00am at Weaver Mortuary.
