Susan Grace Antero

Our precious mother, Susan Grace Antero, 64 years old, passed away peacefully at 1:15pm, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She was born December 5, 1956 in Albay Bicol, Philippines to Antonio and Anita Antero

Our mother was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She was an attentive caregiver, graceful majorette, and a loving mother. When she was young, her beauty was undeniable, resulting in being pursued by many suitors. Her contagious smile, which she inherited from her mother, reflects her beautiful soul that radiates strongly towards others.

Not only was she known for her beauty, but she was also an intelligent student during her college years. She knew the importance of knowledge, thus, prioritizing her education despite coming from a poverty-stricken family. She finished her bachelor’s degree in commerce University of Nueva Cacares in Naga City.

Although her past marriage was unsuccessful, she was blessed with two daughters, Hazelle Ann Grace and Zherrie May Antero Go. Due to unexpected circumstances, she was forced to leave her country, family, and children. But despite the distance, she has devoted her life to raising, loving, and caring for her daughters, ensuring to provide them quality education and quality life. Her contentment depends on her girl’s happiness and success.

She was admitted on her birthday in 2020. While she fought bravely for almost 3 months to survive her illness and be with her daughters, God has plan to take her home. Her family grieves her loss, especially her children, but they take comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain and suffering. She will continue to guide and protect her family from heaven.
