August 16th, 1934 – September 18th, 2023
Wanda Lou Steadman, born in Tipton, OK & resided in Banning, CA 89, passed away peacefully at 6:00am Monday September 18th, 2023. Preceded by her mother Birdie & Father Dewey Boatman, by brother Arland & sister Genetta. She was reunited 4 days later by her husband and love of her life of more than 50 years, Marla. She is survived by her brother, Bill Boatman, her daughter Cheryl Murphy (Michael), and step children Denise Salinas, Robert Steadman (Denise), Kevin Steadman (Allison);8 grandchildren;
11 great grandchildren that will carry on her legacy of love and compassion.
She was a kind and gentle soul who knew how to make a stranger feel welcomed and a member of the family. Her ability to give comfort and wisdom made her unique and respected by family and friends alike. She always knew when to listen and when to give advice. At her core was a love of helping those in need and providing a safe place to those who needed respite. Anyone that knew her would say her hugs were unparalleled, and her smile warming. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
In lieu of a memorial or flowers, she had asked to donate whatever you can to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
