William Fierro

Our dad, William Fierro, age 59, passed away in his sleep Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born July 16, 1953 in California to Henry and Evelyn Fierro. Born with a heart condition, Dad's first surgery was at age 5 and it left a huge scar going down his chest.

In high school, Bill played basketball and baseball, but it was his love of baseball that stayed with him all throughout his life. Dad played baseball in college until an injured knee prevented him from continuing the game. After meeting at a preschool where they worked, Bill married our mom Miriam in 1985. Together they raised three children. Bill loved being a dad and helped raise his youngest brother-in-law alongside his three children. Dad fought through two strokes, one heart attack, cerebral atrophy and finally dementia.

Intensely loved and insanely missed, Dad is survived by his wife Miriam; daughters Jennifer Fierro and Jolene Fierro; sons Jason Fierro and Paul Demitry Rubio and his granddogs Molly and Sasha. Bill also leaves behind his dad Henry Fierro; brother Rick Fierro; sisters Diane Fierro and Linda Hill; mother-in-law Margarita Rubio and 14 nieces and nephews and cousins.

Family and Friends are invited to attend Bill's Memorial Service Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 10:00am, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California 92223.
