William John Zimmerman

After graduating from St. Mary's High School in 1954, William enlisted in the U. S. Air Force. During the 26 years he served in the Air Force and the 20 years in Aerospace after the service, he was a part of the following programs: ICBM Missiles, Drones, B-1, B-2, Stealth Fighter and Discovery Shuttle. William was a war veteran and spent one year in the Vietnam War and almost a year in Thailand.

William married Angela Tricaso in 1962 and they had four sons who were his pride and joy. He was a devout Catholic and Sacristan at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church in Yucaipa, California.

William leaves behind his loving wife Angela; four sons Michael (Marci), Vincent (Ubanda), Joe (Rebecca) and Steve (Aurora) and nine grandchildren Gabriella, Miguel, Jessica, Lindsay, Hannah, Vince, Jr, Delilah, Alex and Angie. He is also survived by his brother Dick and half sister Dot. William was preceded in death by his parents and several half brothers and sisters.

Memorial service Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 11:00am, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Private interment was at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
