William "Bill" Lentz, devoted and loving husband and father,passed away on March 4, 2013, in Redlands, California, after a long illness. William was born November 18, 1967 to Donald and Elaine Lentz, he was the 10th of 12 children. William grew up in Yucaipa and spent most of his time riding and racing BMX bicycles.

William owned and operated Center Point Electric for 10 years. He enjoyed football, hockey, riding dirt bikes and any sport or activity involving his 3 sons.

William is survived by his loving wife, Karen and his sons, Michael, Kevin and Ryan, all of Yucaipa. He is also survived by 3 sisters and 5 brothers, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. William will be greatly missed.

Visitation Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 1:00pm with the Funeral service at 2:00pm, both at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. A reception will follow services at the Lentz's home in Yucaipa. Private family interment at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Calimesa, California.

Bill was a great friend, coach, and scrimmage partner to all the boys on the Vikings football team. We who new him then are so terribly sad to hear of his passing, but will have only the most fond memories of the practices and games we spent with Bill and his sons. Bill was a great friend and he will be missed. I am blessed to have spent time with him on Sunday afternoon before he passed away. He was a devoted husband and father. He touched many lives with his kindness and generosity.

i remember meeting billright out of high school working on a project in being a plumber and him a "sparky" we never really actually worked in the same field but over the yearsended up on may of the same projects..i remember once my work was real slow and i was only working a few days a week bill offered me a job on the days i had off..i knew bill really didnt need the help at the time but thats the kind of guy bill was. thank you bill for the wonderful memories on and off work

sad news.. i have known bill for 20 plus years and have enjoyed his friendship..i had the pleasure of meeting bill through work and we had worked together on and off for almost all of the 20 years..he will be greatly missed.What i really enjoyed seeing was how devoted he was to his wife and children..i will miss you much brother..your friend jimmy skimin
