

He moved to Hartford, Conn. in his younger years. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
In 1963, he moved his family to California, where he was employed by the Los Angeles Transportation Company for 25 years.
In 1991, Bill married Rosalee, whom he met while bowling at Brunswick, where she was program director. They moved to Simi Valley and he worked 11 years for Simi Valley Transportation.
After returning to Banning, Bill and Rosalee moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in 1999.
Bill was an avid golfer, and was a member of the Men’s Golf Club. He was very active in Drama Club, a member of the International Culture Club and Friendship Club, and participated in the Mystery Theater group. He enjoyed playing pool, and being with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalee; two daughters: Janice and Deborah; sons-in-laws, Mike and Darrell; a stepdaughter Stephanie and her husband, Brett; stepson, Steven; eight grandchildren: Timothy, Kristina, Jonathan, Caleb, Anna, Billy, Cindy and Ryan; four great-grandchildren: Drew, Carter, Chloe, Brandon, with two more due Nov. and Dec. 2014.
Memorial services are scheduled for Nov. 6 at 11 a.m., at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Heart Associations or Parkinson’s Disease Association.
