Alice “Sally” Crabtree, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Clemson Heritage Assisted Living Facility in Clemson, South Carolina. She was born May 4, 1943, the youngest child of the late Everett and Mary Mullins. Alice was a 1961 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and completed the Secretarial Science program at Beckley College in 1962. She was a retired West Virginia State employee. She was an active member of Calloway Heights Baptist Church in Beckley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Donald Miser and Jesse Crabtree, brothers Harold Mullins, Everett Mullins Jr., Carl Mullins, Gaylord “Tince” Mullins, William “Moon” Mullins, Howard “Bo” Mullins, Danny Mullins, and James Mullins, and sisters Helen Vass and Ann Rayle. Surviving are her son, Larry Garten (Cindy) of Easley, South Carolina, granddaughters Hannah and Rebekah, her sister Juanita Sims of Green Cove Springs, Florida, and brother Bobby Mullins of Daniels.
Services to celebrate the life of Alice “Sally” Crabtree will be held Thursday June 23rd, 2022 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Tim Mitchem officiating. Following the services Alice will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may gather with the family from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
