Allean Cozart

Born on February 13th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Cora Adkins McCoy.

Allean enjoyed walking, cleaning house, working puzzle books, cooking and spending time with family, visiting shut-ins and going to church. She spend her life doing what she loved, being a homemaker and taking care of her family. This brought her tremendous enjoyment. Allean set the standard for her loved ones, living a life of service, as she was a devout Christian. Allean attended the Gospel Chapel at Daniels.

In addition to her parents, Allean is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Cozart; a daughter, Lisa Eilane Cozart; and siblings, Madeline McCoy Baker, Ronald, Gene, Don, Harlen McCoy, Vera McCoy Phillips and Carol McCoy Linville.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Brian Cozart of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Donna Cozart of Soak Creek, WV; grandsons, Joshua McKinney and Caleb McKinney of WV; granddaughter, Tanna Cozart of Raleigh, NC; great-grandsons, James McKinney and Jack McKinney of WV; great-granddaughter, Sadie Allean McKinney of WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Allean will be held on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 1PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, with Luke Richmond presiding. Allean will be laid to rest following the graveside service.
