Alma Estella Alexander, 71, of Beckley, WV, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2026. She was born February 11, 1955, in Slab Fork, WV, and was the beloved daughter of the late Bryant and Alma Brim.
Alma (Estella) was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy came from the family she loved so deeply. A woman of many passions, she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a gifted eye for home decor, and possessed a remarkable talent for cooking everyone’s favorite meals. Her hands were rarely still; she spent countless hours tending her vibrant flower gardens and took immense delight in beautifully decorating her home. She also enjoyed decorating her home and yard for various holidays, ensuring each season felt magical and welcoming for her family. Her warmth, creativity, and love leave a legacy that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by family members who went before her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Coy Alexander; her son, Anthony (Shomari) Alexander and his wife, Teresa; her cherished grandchildren, EnJoli and Tashan; and her siblings, Nate Brim (Sandra), Fred Brim (Regina), Howard Brim (Judith), James Brim (Lona), and Cathy Brim, along with a host of extended family and dear friends.
A service celebrating Alma's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV, with Pastor Vernon Sears officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.
