Anita Jean Allen

Anita was born in Beckley, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Eugene Lafferty and Dreama I. Angel Lafferty.

Anita loved doing home improvements, gardening, and traveling. She was the owner and operator of Money Matters Accounting "Pro-Tax and Bookkeeping", starting with a 1 room office in 1994 and growing it to a full accounting office.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dillian Lafferty.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 48 years, David W. Allen; a son, Carl Allen of MacArthur; two brothers, Gary Lafferty and wife, Cathy of Fairfax, VA and Roger Lafferty and wife, Cecylia of Beaver, WV; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Anita Jean Allen will be held 1:00PM Monday, May 13, 2024 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Jay Quesenberry officiating. Following the services, Anita will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM Monday until time of the service at the funeral home.
