Barbara "Bobby" Ann McComas

Barbara was born September 20, 1936 in Wyco, WV; she was the daughter of the late Glen Wilcox and the late Virgie Powell Wilcox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Estel McComas; son, Estel McComas, Jr; brother, Ronald Wilcox; grandmother, half-brother, half-sister, various aunts and uncles.

Barbara loved watching WVU Football and Basketball, she obtained her Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance, and was a Christian Counselor for several years. Barbara was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church. She was a loving and caring person, who had guardianship. of 3 nieces and a nephew that passed away.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Craddock of Mt. Hope; a sister, Frances Goins; a grandson, Christopher Stover; nieces and nephews and extended family.

A service to celebrate the life of Barbara Ann McComas will be held 2:00PM Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Billy Pate officiating. Following the services, Barbara will be laid to rest beside her son and husband at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather from 1:00PM until time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
