Born October 26, 1945 in Topeka Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Juanita Jay Lester. Barbara was a good homemaker, a great mom, loving grandmother and a hard worker. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Shannon Karl of Beckley, Christopher Sexton; grandchildren, Tyler Karl, Briana Karl and Tori Robinson.
