Barb found happiness in life’s simplest blessings: sipping her morning coffee while listening to country music, watching hummingbirds visit her feeder, and enjoying the sight of her grandchildren playing throughout the yard. She enjoyed the simple comforts of life, whether it was a Diet Coke or Miller Lite in hand, a cigarette by her side, or the familiar sounds of her favorite songs filling the morning air. Most of all, she cherished the comfort of home and the family who filled it with love and laughter.
Her love for her family was immeasurable. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Though her absence leaves an ache that words cannot express, her memory will live on in the songs she loved, the hummingbirds outside her window, and the countless little moments that will forever remind her family of her.
Barb was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Lee Spencer Jr.; her daughter, Virginia Ann Wright; and her great-granddaughter, Khloe Lynn Marie Cornelius.
She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Spencer III, and his wife, Deborah Lynn Spencer; her grandchildren, Darren and Becca Hehr, Wendy and Allen Whitworth, Samantha and Josh Hehr, Chelsea Ann Hooper, and Clyde Wright and his wife, Kelly Eagle; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Aaron, Joseph, Madison, Willow, Briar, Clyde “Bug,” and Harlea.
Though Barb may no longer be with us, the love she gave will never fade. She will forever be a part of the family she cherished so deeply.
Rest peacefully, Barb. May your coffee be warm, your favorite country songs play on, and the hummingbirds always be near. You were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
