Barbara Stone

Born on December 31, 1938, to the late Cecil and Gladys Bibb, Barbara was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family.

She often spoke of the blessings in her life, including her family, friends and most importantly her love for Jesus.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Halstead and Libby Whittaker; her brother Fred (Pat) Bibb; and her sister Joanne (John) Roth.

Barbara leaves behind a rich family legacy, including seven grandchildren: Samantha Whittaker, David Whittaker, Krystal (Daniel) Baker, Elliot (Chloe) Halstead, Chuck (Gayle) Meadows, and David Meadows; ten great-grandchildren: Jayden Whittaker, Eli Whittaker, Caden (Baylee) Whittaker, Austin Whittaker, Joshua Scott, Ember Baker, Roland Baker, Ezra Halstead, Scarlett Meadows, and Sydney Meadows; and two great-great-grandchildren: Jaxon Whittaker and Angela Scott.

Barbara’s special baby was her dog, Tator, whom she spoiled and loved dearly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her dear husband Seth “Stoney” Stone, her son Charles “Chuck” Meadows (Dolly), her grandson Samuel Meadows, and her son-in-law Carl (Libby) Whittaker.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
