Betty M Feazell

Betty was born on October 26, 1930 at Gauley Bridge, WV to her late parents Kenneth E. McClung and Ruth Sharp McClung.

Betty was preceded in death by Ralph her husband of 58 years, her parents and daughter Ann M. Feazell.

She is survived by her son Thomas M. Feazell and Kimberly Schmidl Feazell, his wife. Joshua M. Feazell her grandson and his wife Julie Wingard all of Fayetteville and Joan M. O’Dell a sister of Sparks, NV.

Betty graduated from High School as Salutatorian of the class of 1948. She was cashier at Fayette Theatre during her high school years. She started her career as a legal secretary in that year and retired in 1990 with 30 years experience. Betty was the first female Magistrate Court Judge in Fayette County in 1988.

She was instrumental in having Fayetteville placed on the National Registration of Historical Places, and building the Fayetteville Visitors Center. She was a member of the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church for 71 years.

A Memorial Service will be held at Huse Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville, WV at 4:00pm on Saturday May 5, 2018 with a dinner to follow at the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church. Come join us for fellowship and food following the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bowers Hospice House-Beckley, WV.
