Betty Jane Rose, 83, of Mt Hope, passed away Saturday, march 5, 2022 following a long illness.
Born December 2, 1938 in Ieager, WV; she was a daughter of the late Everet and Cassie Steel Vanover.
Betty was an avid gardener, reading, working puzzles, and playing video games.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Wood; a daughter, JoAnn Fox; and two brothers, James Vanover and Tiny Vanover.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving son, Dallas Rose of Mt. Hope; a daughter, Susan Stover and husband, William of Mt. Hope; grandchildren, Misty Elder, Christopher Fox, Rachel Fox, Sarah Fox, Travis Rose, and Dale Rose; nine great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, she chose cremation with no formal services.
