My first memories of Sister Betty come from 1959 and Sunday School at the First Church Of God where I attended church with her until 1972. She was one of the sweetest witnesses for the Lord that anyone has ever been around! Now she is feasting on the Manna at the table with the Master!

You know your Mother and your family are all special to our family. I grew up with Jennifer and we shared our birthday, but your Mom had a big impact on me when I was a young teen and I’m not sure I ever told you this. We were raised in a different church and as young teens, Mary Jo and I basically left and started visiting a few churches in town. One of the first visits was to your Mom’s church and she was so tender hearted and welcoming that I felt sure we had made a wise decision. She was one of the first people I remember just being totally receptive to us on our journey and boosted my confidence enough to find a different home church. Love all of you, and I pray God’s perfect peace that you all know you will see your family together again in God’s perfect timing!

To my Aunts and their families, May the Lord bless and keep you, may the Lord let his face smile upon you and give you peace and may the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Our prayers are with all of you.

Mrs. White was so special to me. I wanted to be a Broadcast Journalist, so I took her Journalism and Speech classes. To say she was a wonderful influence is an understatement. She provided so much encouragement. I ended up teaching English just like she did; I’m thankful for her kindness and that encouragement I mentioned. I might not be where I am today without it.

I have such rich memories of Betty, especially playing the piano at Craigsville Camp Meeting. When Betty's family moved from Page, our family moved into the same house. My mother's sister married Betty's brother! While we say, "Betty is gone", heaven is rejoicing, "Here comes Betty".

I've known the White family for years. Betty to most, but Mrs. White to me. She was an exceptional woman to say the least. She was a respected woman in the community & was admired by a lot. I went to school with Jennifer & was very saddened by her passing. I remember Mr. White's joking manner and he always had a smile. I'm sure Mrs. White is rejoicing with her loved ones that have passed, but it's still hard to say good-bye for her family. My sincerest condolences to each and every family member. God speed Mrs. W. Your journey is complete. You were a good and faithful servant.

I can remember visiting church with my Great Aunt Nola Cook and hearing a group singing. I can still hear words but don't know the whole song, sang by Ms Kirk. She was a great teacher as well as a great piano player. I had accelerated English 12 from her and she prepared me for College English writing. Sending prayers Carol Jean

Betty was my mentor from a very early age. She was a wonderful, talented musician and had a terrific sense of humor. She was honest, smart and unforgettable. This world won’t shine as brightly without her. I always hoped to get to talk to her one more time. Love to the family!
