Born on March 28, 1960, in Charleston, WV, Beverly dedicated more than 20 years of her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Pinecrest Community Hospital. She cared for her patients with unwavering compassion and commitment, and her gentle spirit touched countless lives throughout her career.
Family was the heart of Beverly’s world. She treasured the moments spent with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who brought her immense pride and joy. The memories she created with them will forever be cherished. Beverly will be remembered for her loving nature, selfless generosity, and the unconditional love she offered to everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Jacobs; father, Franklin Runyon; brothers, Timothy Runyon and Kevin Vandall; sister, Debra Bowles; nieces, Taylor Vandall and Michelle Miller; and her great-nephew, Trenton Runyon.
Left to honor her memory is her daughter, Karen Byers; granddaughters, Serena Byers (Jesse); Kirsten Williams; Whitley Williams; and her great-grandchildren Raelynn, Ayden, Maleigha, and Jaxson. She is also survived by her brothers Frank Runyon (Freda), Phillip Runyon (Kim), Richard Runyon (Tina), Kenneth Runyon (Loretta), and Mitchell Vandall, as well as her sister Crystal Vandall.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, at 12:00PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV. A funeral service will follow at 1PM on Tuesday, officiated by Pastor Doug Holley.
