Carol J Kell

Carol Jean Kell of Beckley, West Virginia, was called to her heavenly home on January 29, 2024. She entered this world on March 8, 1951, in Caretta, West Virginia, born to Emmett and Lettie Akers, both of whom preceded her in death.

Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mom and Gran. She loved taking care of "Fred" and spending time with family and friends. She bowled for many years and more recently she enjoyed playing the slot machines. You would catch her dancing to the Oldies and Motown music often. She loved the beach and was always always up for an adventure with her sister Lynn

.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to her husband Bill, daughter Kim Bowling (Keith), son Steve Kell (Heather), grandsons Jacob Stanley and Jagger Kell and granddaughter Braden Kell, as well as many other cherished family members. In addition to her parents she joins in eternal rest with her siblings Eddie "Blackie" Akers and Linda "Lynn" Rivera.

A celebration of life ceremony to honor Carol's memory and journey into everlasting peace will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2024. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 - 6:00, with a celebration of life ceremony at 6:00.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowers Hospice House. Carol's family would like to thank all who called, visited and prayed for her. She will be greatly missed!
