Carolyn was born on February 13, 1957 in Sasebo, Japan to the late Paul E. Penrod and Noriko Yano Penrod.
Carolyn lived life to the fullest, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, snorkeling, woodworking, sewing, gardening and loved the beaches.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ron Robinson; daughter, Jessica Williams and husband Ryan; sister, Jennifer Lindamood and husband Scott; granddaughter, Lainey Williams; nephews, Alex and Jeremy; and a host of extended friends and family.
Services for Carolyn will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House-Beckley, WV in memory of Carolyn.
