From the time I was born....I was Papaw’s little girl. He was the first man I ever loved and I was the apple of his eye. From riding on his lap around the yard on the mower, to riding on his lap on the 4 wheeler, to eventually having my own 4 wheeler and having him following him behind me, I was glued to him at the hip being the little tomboy that I was. I believe my love of the woods and outdoors came from him. Growing up, I spent many nights with Mamaw and papaw  and almost every single morning I’d wake up and run to the door to check my shoes....papaw always had little presents for me in my shoes, maybe a few dollars in one shoe and candy or bubble gum in the other. He always made sure I knew how loved I was by him and Mamaw. He had the best heart and was one of the greatest men that has ever walked this earth.  I just hope he was proud of me and the woman he helped shape me to be. I love you forever papaw ♥️

Dad, you were the first man I ever loved and showed me what qualities to look for in husband. You showed me what unconditional love looks like from a man for his wife, children, family and friends.  You always pushed me to do and be the best I could be. You taught me how to be an independent and strong woman, to be self sufficient and a productive member of society. I am sorry for all the trouble I was and hope I made you proud of the person I became. You are and have always been one of the best men I have ever known and I am proud to be your daughter. So thankful God gave me to you. In my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill. I’m thankful I got to be with you as you left me and woke up in Heaven, although it broke my heart to let you go. I’m so glad you no longer struggle to breathe or are fearful or worried. Check was a good friend, we are going to miss him, and the visits at his home, Charlotte and the family are in our thoughts and Prayers, R.I.P


He was my boss at Phillips Machine Service and he was a great man.  Sorry for the loss. He is God's hands now watching down on you all. He will still be with you always.  A lot better than where he was. God bless.

Chester was a class mate of mine. Class of 61 PHS.  Lots of memories of Chester and sorry to see his passing.  RIP old friend.

Mawmaw/Kim/Morgan:  

When I think of Morgan's pawpaw/Kim's dad, I immediately think of the camp down by the river.  Morgan and I were just little kids (and brand new friends) the first time I visited mawmaw and pawpaw at the camp... yet I vividly remember the way I felt that day.  
There was so much love.  
There was happiness.   
There was family.  

There will always be love, happiness, and family thanks to pawpaw... even in the hearts of those who aren't "relatives."

Times like these are the reason I wish I lived closer to home.  Although I can't be there to comfort you, He always will be.  (Matthew 5:4)

I went to school with the Snuffer boys and remember them as  kind, good people. My condolences to the family.My maiden name was Halsey. 

Check was a good friend.   We were friends thru high school and worked together at  Phillips Machinery.  I have good memories of Check.  Charlotte and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry for your loss.  Chet was a good friend and cousin.  Herb enjoyed working  with him at Phillip's Machine. He and I enjoyed taking about family and old times. We sure had some laughs. He will be missed.  God Bless you all during this time.
